Asia Pacific Research Association on Curriculum Studies Inc.

HISTORY

The Asia Pacific Research Association on Curriculum Studies, Inc. (APRACSI) started as an initiative of a group of enthusiastic Curriculum Studies students, with help of their area adviser, in the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City early in 2017. The Asia Pacific Conference on Curriculum Studies and Instructional Designing (APCCSID) was the first focus of this group of people during that formative period, but seeing the need to establish a professional organization to anchor the future long term goals of the conference, the APRACSI was soon formed. The demand to make APRACSI a long standing professional organization in the field of curriculum studies was further kindled after the success brought by the first conference.

Today APCCSID is just one of the many professional development events that the APRACSI is putting forward. The present organization consists of international board from different countries especially in the Asia Pacific region. The local chapter in its headquarters in the Philippines is composed of professional people with common ground in the field of curriculum studies from different schools across levels and from other institutions.
